I have 2 problems with Effective & Expiration date in Warehouse creation set up.

1- Why I cannot edit Effective & Expiration date? The edit button is blocked (access issue?)

2- Why the Effective date doesn't match between main screen and Edit addess screen? (See below  print screen)

Abd in which table I should find the effective& expiration date information?

I believe that address is missing the name or description.  To verify it, Go to Home -> common -> Global address book, filter on the name(address of the warehouse), then you can locate the address, then add the value.  After adding this information, you can edit expiry / effective dates

The effective date is not editable because it gets updated automatically when you updated the address. For all your changes done on the address you can view from the Address fast tab > More options > Advanced and select History. When you create an address that is effective from future date, then you can provide the effective and expiry date and once saved it becomes uneditable.

I was wondering if those fields could be used for opening store date and closing store date. If I cannot edit it, it will not work. I do not understand why we can set a effective date but cannot edit or add a expire date.

"Primary addresses do not have an effective date. It's the "most important" address of the Company which doesn't have an effective date.

If you want to set an effective date on a Primary address, you first need to create an alternative address, mark it as Primary and then you can set an effictive date to the previous address - which is then no Primary address anymore. " - Florian D. Mücke (Microsoft)
