Unable to debug cloudPOS in dynamics365

Hi All,

I have created a new view in cloudPOS and correspondingly expose new API in Retail Server.

To call this new view , I have created a new button (with blank operation type )at POS layout via AX.

Now, I want to open the newly created view on click of newly created button (with blank operation type ) at POS.

Any suggestions how to do that??

Do I need to create a blank operation handler at CLOUDPOS??

Infact I am not able to debug the sample solution. Please suggest as well.

Steps I already tried :-

FOR SAMPLE SOLUTION :-

-  Show all files -> include the desired solution in pos.extension -> modified extenstion.json, tsconfig.json.

Thanks

Shubham

    Hi Shubham Arora ,

You should change the mode to x86 from ARM beside Debug on the toolbar. Then just click on f5 and you should be able to debug. I hope you have the Typescript file already installed on your machine.

    thx sambit, it worked.

Now, I an stuck at how to debug the cpos with runtime or retail server.

Here, there is only 1 W3WP process which is attached to VS.

Now, when i ttry to attach, it gives me error debugger already attached.

Please suggest If I am missing anything.

    Hi Shubam,

You dont need to attach any process to debug CPOS. You can use F12 option and select debugger mode in that. Your debugging point will hit.
