I'm trying to customize the industry classification in an account and I can't seem to figure out how. I've been to customization in settings, but the only thing that is listed under that is "Developer Resources". I've also clicked on individual accounts and create new to see if the customize button would appear but it did not. I'm wondering if anyone can shed some light on how to do this, it would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi,

    Sounds like you don't have the right security roles.

    Can you confirm if you have System Customizer or System Administrator roles? (or if a role you have has the equivalent permissions).

    I'm not sure where to locate that. I did ask our head of HR and she said I had "CEO" privalges. Although she could be mistaken....

    Im not entirely sure my last post worked.

    so here it is again.

    Im having trouble posting images, so while I work on that ill simply type it.

    Goto System -> Administration - > users.

    Find your user and open the details page.

    Go to security roles and see whats in the list.

    you need system customizer at minimum to modify crm's customizations.

    the CEO role does NOT have these permissions, and if you don't have access to something in crm, crm often wont show you any icons.

    (which is why customization only shows developer resources).
