Load planning workbench! Create loads which is reserved.

Hi Experts,

Is there anyway we can plan loads only for the reserved quantity?

For ex: I created order for 100 qty, stock is available only for 60, Load planning should be available only for 60, its defaulted to 100 all the time(Editable to 60).

When i release the load to warehouse, work is created only for 60 Load is created for 100.

Looks basic requirement, how are other customers handling this scenario? Any setups/Workarouds to achieve this?

I agree, look like a basic requirement but there is no standard process to support it, I guess because reserved order line quantities can change requiring constant updates to load line quantities.

We had to create customization to facilitate both: load line qty = reserved qty and picking list qty = reserved qty. Both are driven by "deliver now" qty that is automatically updated with reservations.
