SOP Blank Invoice

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

I need to put some free form text from each invoice on the header of each invoice.  I tried moving comment1 from the footer to the header (as that seems to be the best option) however it does not work.  Has anyone done this before or have a better suggestion?

Thanks, Kim

    Hi,

You can do what you want by utilizing the user-defined functions in Report Writer. If you are a GPUG member, you can download a slide show with attached documents. If you are coming to Summit this year, be sure to sign up for my session on Modifying a Word template. As you know, you have to first get the data to Report Writer before you can put it on a word template. Have you considered using the record note text in your header. You should be able to do this with the comments from the footer. Make sure you put it in the correct header.

    Kind regards,

    Leslie
