Hi All ,

D365 F&O has Entity store functionality in System administration . Example : Purchase , Sales , Inventory and production entity stores are available.

Could any one guide me how to view these entity data when users login to D365 as default screen ? Thanks !!

I have the same question (0)

Can you please explain your requirement? If you want to see data in F&O, why do you need Entity store? You can simply use a form, can't you?

Also, it's not clear what you mean by "default screen".

And no, there aren't separate entity stores for Purchase, Sales etc. Data from all modules are in a single entity store.

To add to above, the entity store in Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (Finance and SCM), is mainly used for analytical reporting, and can be integrated with PowerBI. But it's just one entity store as already mentioned.

In D365FO UI, you can see those cubes' data in the following places: (if PowerBI Embedded is enabled, and you have refreshed those data in Entity store)

Procurement and sourcing > Inquiries and reports > Purchase performance analysis > Purchase and spend analysis,

Sales and marketing > Inquiries and reports > Sales performance analysis > Sales and profitability performance,

Warehouse management > Inquiries and reports > Warehouse performance analysis > Warehouse performance,

Production control > Inquiries and reports > Production performance analysis > Production performance

    +1 Crispin

One cannot directly view data within entity store

need to use PowerBI embedded to expose that information and they are availlable in modules as suggested as well as in analytical workspaces
