SMTP Server Profile for CRM Dynamics

I created a SMTP server profile on my dev solution. I deployed the solution to the test instance on the same development server, but the smtp server profile did not get through.

Do we have to set up the smtp profile for each tenant?

Is there a way to propagate the smtp profile settings along with solution deployment?
