Dear All,

I wish to do a power Bi dashboard Prototype and sell this idea to my users and my boss. I research a lot of YouTube video, but it sounds I don't get an answer yet.

with my chronical can someone guide me what's my missing and how I get my prototype.

the step that I do now.

1. do a simple power bi dashboard

2.I do the step to setup an entity, register app in azure server, configuration in D365

3.I setup a project with a single form and I expect I put my power BI in this form(but I can't).

    Hi Thanakorn Kanjiropas,

From my understanding I guess you need to add your .pbix file as an Resource in the application explorer.

Refer to the below documentation for adding .pbix file to AOT resource.

    http://ajit-newdynamicsax.blogspot.com/2018/07/power-bi-how-to-embed-pbix-in-d365fo.html

After that you need to create a group and use the "PBIReportControllerBase" class to run your custom power bi report.

You can refer to the standard form "ExpenseWorkspace" - Inside the form there is a method named "initAdminReport" - Which calls the power bi report with the use of PBIReportControllerBase class.

This method is called in the pageActivated method of the particular group where you want to display your custom power bi report.

Also, from the screenshot of power bi configuration page you didn't mention the application id and key from the azure portal. Refer to the below link for configuring power bi in D365 F&O.

    https://gopalthorve.com/configure-power-bi-integration-for-microsoft-dynamics-365-finance-and-operations-workspaces/

    Thanks,

    Girish S.

    Dear Girish S

    of cause As my expect.

Now I follow your recommend D365FO: Power BI - How to embed a PBIX in D365FO and add in a workspace. (ajit-newdynamicsax.blogspot.com)

to create new project then add resource in my project after that I create a class that I simulate from an example.

then I build and run what's wrong for this item
(Power BI embedded is not enabled. Please contact your system administrator.)
For configuring power bi in D365 F&O I think I follow this link already.
