I have run into a situation with issuing a credit memo to a customer that has a discounted payment term(e.g. 1% net 10). As soon as you change the document type to credit memo, the payment term option goes dim. So now GP applies the same discount percentage to the credit memo so depending on the dates the amount will change. The only way I can stop this is to change the payment term on the customer card but then you need to make sure no new transactions are being entered for that customer. Has anyone else seen this? Is there a better way to handle this?
