Hi Guys,
I want to restrict to read only for "Reason" control which is a data method control in PurchTable form. I tried with security privileges but it restricts all the control. please guide to solve this issue.

How you tried with security privilege? Setting the Needed permission control to manual and then adding that control to privilege with access levels?

Yes, I tried that way but had no luck, it's still editable. Please guide me to do it in the front end, not the backend customisation.
As far I know I don't think you can achieve that from front end. You need a customization from the back end.
If needed permission control on the property doesn't work then you need to add a code that will get the security role for the current logged in user. Based on that role you can restrict your control.
Thanks for your response, I did manage to restrict the control from the front end but it restricts all the control. I will try from the back end.
