Hello!

I am periodically getting an error message related to tracking emails with CRM through Outlook.

Here's the error message as displayed: Improperly-Formed-XML-Error-Capture.PNG

I am using MSCRM 2015 On line and MS Office 365 ProPlus.

Am I doing something wrong?

I am receiving something very similiar...was there a resolution?

    Jason,

I never got a response on this one - this itself is odd considering the number of times I've posed a question as had the resolution provided within 2 hours!

So, one thing I've noticed it that I've received this error message on an email sent from an email address other than the one associated with my CRM user account. In outlook, I have the ability to send emails from my own account as well as a shared/group account. When I attempted to track the email being sent from the shared/group account, this error message would rear its ugly head.

    This however, was

I hope that my anecdotal information is of use to you!

    Cheers,

    "This however, was..." should read:

This however was not the only instance in which I received this error message.

Hi, Erik, I'm getting this same issue with a client of mine, and he does not have multiple mailboxes associated with his Outlook profile.  You mentioned that you saw this error with emails sent from the primary email address -- did you ever find a resolution for those emails?

    Dean,

As it turns out, the only resolution I found was to be sure not to attempt to Track Emails originating from an other email than one directly associated with a specific CRM User.

I wish I could be more helpful, but I never received any response with an actual solution or even a suggestion!

    Good luck,

    Erik
