Hi,

when i try to "Generate statistical baseline forecast" from AX 2012 R3 from "Master planning", "Periodic" i receive this infolog:

Warning Message: The required version of Microsoft SQL Server ADOMD.NET was not found. It can be downloaded from: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=CEB4346F-657F-4D28-83F5-AAE0C5C83D52.
Error Message: The forecast has not been generated.

I've already installed Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 ADOMD.NET but nothing changes.

Do you have a solution?

Thank you.

Matteo

    It's AX 2012 R3 CU9.

    Just for recap:

    • CLIENT SIDE installations: Client AX, Office 365 ProPlus;
    • DB SERVER SIDE installations: Reporting Server extensions;

    We also have 2 AOS servers.

    Do you have any suggestions?

    Thank you

    The ADOMD.NET is a client driver to access SQL Server analysis services, like I have mentioned, if I’m not in mistake, this component should be installed in client computer that have Dynamics AX client and Office ( 32 bits ) and Reporting Server extensions. AX uses that specific version to connect to multiple SQL versions is more or less version agnostic. What CU of AX do you have installed ?

    I've installed "Office 365 ProPlus" in the client side and "SQL Server 2008 R2 ADOMD.NET" in the db server where also report server is configured.

    But i receive the same error. Do you know why the infolog asks me to install the ADOMD.NET 2008 instead of 2014 which is my database version?

    Thank you

    I would go for the Office x86

    If I’m not in mistake, you need to install it on the report server and use a compatible office version >2013 on the client side

    Hi Nuno,

    i have installed it only on client.

    I have a server for the database and 2 servers for AOS. Should i installed it on my 2 AOS? A restart is needed?

    Thank you.
