Hey, How can I customize and modify fields in the Item Card, and what is the process for importing item data in Dynamics 365 Business Central?

    Hi, modify: This must be modified by the developer.
     
    Regarding imports, you can use the standard functionality, configuration package.

    Sounds like you need some training on Business Central. Changing fields is not suggested unless you know what those fields do and how the system uses them. Adding fields is different. An example, if you change the description length on the item card, there are many, many other place where this will cause problems.
     
    As for importing item data, once again, you need to understand the fields that BC needs to accurately process inventory transactions.
     
    The technical mechanics for the above are fairly easy to learn.

    Customize and modify fields in what sense? If you want to modify existing fields, then extend the Item Card and use modify(){} to modify the field. For assistance, please find the link below:
