That script does not delete the batch. It only resets the status of it to "Available" and unposted. Try running check links for the RM Transactions work and open tables. It is not necessary to have users logged off for this.

    Hi, Joshua,

Thanks for your help. I run the procedure last night all users log off out.

I put  "use company DB" first line and run other cmds. It shows "one row affected" and "execute successful".

Then I go into GP to check the batch, it still there. I try to delete it in "receivables batch entry" and got same error "exception_class_script_out _of_range scrip_cmd_set".  any suggestion?

    thanks!!!

    Hi George,

First, I would have the user log out of GP, log back in, then try again. If they are accessing GP through a terminal server, log out of that too. Sometimes, the SQL connection for that session gets wonky.

Second, on your script, make sure you are running the script for your company database. I assume you are using SQL Management Studio or something equivalent,

put a "use <database name>" statement above your query, and execute. You can also select the database from the drop down in the header.

Third, your script will set the status for any batch that has that batch id. Batch names are not unique across all modules. Have a look at fields "SERIES" and "BCHSOURC"
