Solomon 6 Year End closing issue..

Hi all,

I am really newbie on Solomon 6.0 but i can't find solution anywhere so i only can ask for help here. When i go to GL do the Year End closing, it run but nothing respond. anyone having this prioblem before??

 Really appreciate if anyone can help me on this. thanks. :)

    This is usually related to the FRx triggers.  I've had good luck re-running the scripts and having GL close normally.  You might have to drop them, close, and then run the scripts though.

    yes...but i can't find the Frx triggers anywhere...currently our version is 6.7.141...after running around 4hrs..finally it come out an error log "System Message 10225: Timeout occurred when attempting to access database resources - press OK to retry"

    after i googled i also found it's regarding article KB893326. But i can't find this article anywhere..HELP!!

    Tony,

    Removing the FRX triggers resolved our SL 5.5 GL Year End Issue.  We noticied the Year End process was taking to long (2 hrs) and that a DB lock/block(sql statement cauing block was UPDATE glsetup

    set lastclosepernbr= '201113'  where setupid= 'GL' ) was causing the the next Year End SQL process to be blocked.  We had to restore the SL 5.5 DBs, remove the FRX triggers then the Year End Process ran within a couple of minutes.  

    We wanted to personally thank you because this was out third attempt and your suggestion resolved the issue.
