Entity List: open "Web Page for Details View" in a new window as a popup having no header footer

Hi,

I am having an entity list exposed in CRM Portal (Dynamics 365 Portals) and I want to display the Web Page for Details (EntityList) in a new popup window. i.e. Whenever user clicks on an invoice record, the details page should open in a new popup window. I want the pop-up to have no header or footer from the Portal

Please see the screenshot below:-

Also, If you have any idea about printing pdf/having a pdf displayed in Portals.. At present, in the details page, I am displaying an A4 sized html invoice which I'll need to be printed later.

Thanks in advance.

    Hi Rizwan,

You can use Entity List Grid Configuration in order to view Entity List record in a dialog without Header and Footer.

Please have a look below article for the same:

Mark this as an answer, If you are able to find the solution.

    Cheers

    Hi Rizwan

in your entity list you define a Web Page for your Details Web Page, I am assuming you have already created that Web Page, right ?

Than.. in this Web Page you have a lookup for the Page Template, which by default you can choose the "Full Page" Page Template and it should be fine.. but in this case, you can create your own Page Template (and just copy pretty much everything from the Full Page Template)

In your new Page Template, there is a check box for "Use Website Header and Footer", just uncheck it and you should be able to load the page without the header/footer

if you need it to display in a separate tab, I guess you have actually to not set the Details Web Page, but instead change the section "Grid Configuration" in your entity list to have a button that will redirect to another window/tab

I am about to post something regarding printing to PDF, what I did was actually used javascript to print a certain section in my Web Page, I was even able to make a div hidden with a logo, and set the display mode once you click in the print button..
