Total main account in Trial Balance

Hello All

I encountered an unusual thing and share it with you guys to ask help.

As my knowledge, total main accounts don't show balance in Trial Balance.

Main Account 41525000 in screenshot below is the total account which sums main accounts from 41525010 to 41525030.  

We have created this total main account 3 days ago.

and when I viewed this main account in trial balance, I could see total balance from 41525010 to 41525030 as you can see screenshot below.

(Other total accounts except this one don't show balances in trial balance for sure.) 

If you have ever seen this happened before, please let us know the reason and how to solve it (how to make total balances not shown in trial balance)

    but i have already understood that total account doesn't show balances in trial balance.

    Problem is that  even though  41525000 is a total account, it shows total balance in trial balance, while other total accounts don't.

    Hi Tina,

    Understand, Try to re-build balances and check again, If the total main account is not reflected in Trail balance than the balance for the respective main accounts will be reflected accordingly.

    Hi Tina,

    In the GL->Setup->Financial Dimension->Financial Dimension Sets, Select the set and than update balance. Than Batch will run to update balances.

    Once done, Try to clear your cache and user data.

    Thank you for your response.

    I have update & rebuild balances for all dimensions sets, but the total account still shows it's balance in trial balance.

    do you have any other ideas to resolve it?

    Hi Tina,

    Try to update the account type by selecting 'balance sheet' and then 'total' again and see if this resolves your issue.

    If this does not help, please contact your system admins/developers because there seem to be some adjustments in your main account form ('KONTO-NR' and WHG are things that do not look like standard features/labels).

    Hi Tina,

    May be you need a developer to help you double check why still total main account is still reflected in TB.  Have you look for hot fix related to this on LCS.

    Hello i tried change main account type then balances are gone.

    But i can't no longer change this main account to Total account back

    please see the error message,

    and there are no transaction with this main account

    do you have any idea to solve this error?

    Hello Tina Jisook Kim,

    There seems to be something wrong with your COA. Probably somebody recorded transactions on this account and deleted them in the AOT tables?!

    Please get a developer involved asap because you won't be able to get this fixed from the AX client.
