SSRS report parameters in Dynamics SL

Hello All,

I wrote a couple of reports in SSRS and want to add them to Dynamics SL report section. It works fine for reports without parameters.

I get a missing parameter error when trying to run SSRS report from inside of Dynamics.
How I can pass parameters from Dynanics  to SSRS?

Any help  would be greatly appreciated!

    Hi All,

    I found the solution for this.

    Don’t create a parameter directly in the SSRS Report. Create a view and join the RptRuntime, RptCompany and your relevant tables. Then, create a pre-process procedure (Refer the standard pre-process procedure to report you will get an idea)

    1. Enter the Report number and add the procedure name into Report control maintenance.
    2. Setup the From/To period in the Transactions Reporting Options and click save

    3. Launch the report in dynamics SL menu and Go to “Report” tab and enter the Beg/End Period.
    4. Need more filters. Go to “Select” tab, then select the fields and operator after that save as template.

    Hello,

    We are having the same issue. Have you learned anything since your post from over a year ago...

    I ran the newly developed SSRS report in Dynamics SL 2015CU1 it works fine without parameters. Then, I add the parameters (Project, From & To period) getting the below error

    Does anyone knows how to resolve this issue?
