RMS get freeze when open journal

When i am using SO Manager and i try to open the journal to print and old transaction or in SO POS when i press F4 the system get freeze and i just can close it using the escape key on my keyboard, i am using RMS 2.0 updated to v. 2.0.1006 in windows 8 with SQL Server 2005, everything in the same computer

I recall having some problems with the Journal in the past if the Windows Default Printer was set to the label printer. The fix was to simply set the windows default printer to a normal 8.5" x 11" printer. This might be worth a try, good luck.

Make sure its not opening in the background, underneath Manager/POS if its not a printer issue SDDXB suggested.

Win 8 does some screwy things sometimes.

Hi,

Have you configured the windows printers in SO. If yes remove the printers and try this.

when the same thing happened to us last time , I figure out it was waiting for the printer to response.

This Can be one of many reasons in your case.
