Hi All,

We want to build couple of custom portals for a single Dynamics 365 instance, how the licensing model works? Do we have to purchase them separately? Any URL which provides the details?

One Portal is free with your Dynamics 365 Plan 1 Business Application (Check Page 16)

Additional you can buy for USD500 per month, storage cost extra www.adoxio.com/.../crm-portals-ga-crm-online-2016

Thanks Prashant, Can we have two custom portals installed/configured pointing a single CRM instance? Is that possible scenario ? or to reduce the cost can we maintain two applications (each application business is different) in a single CRM Portal pointing to single CRM instance in the back-end (Considering two BU's in CRM, each BU has its own set of users, security roles, Set of Entities to manage their business)

Hello Prashant

I understood that we have 1 portal free for each tenant, is that right ?

So if I have 3 tenants (dev/uat/prod) I will have 3 portals for free as well ?

But if I need a second Portal/Website, I would have to pay additional USD500*3/month ?

Hi Oliver,

Just to correct your understanding here, only 1 portal is free per tenant & not per instance, after this even if you buy extra production instance at cost will not have portal with it.

After 1 free portal any extra portal instance comes at additional cost

Hope it clarifies your doubt

Hello!

We have Dynamics 365 for Sales (SMB Offer). I would like to have our free portal in order to use it as member management tool . More deeply, we want the loyal members of a loyalty scheme to log in and see their points , promos etc. Is it possible ? If yes , can users login with their phone number as username ? I mean there are restrications on portal configuration?

Hello Chrysa

The username is located as a Single line of text under the Contact Entity

I don't see any restrictions for your requirement, you would only have to replicate the contact phone number into the username field (adx_identity_username)
