Change Default System Currency + Windows 10

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Hi

2 questions in one,

One of our stores managed to upgrade their software from Win7 to Win10 and when I logged on most things seemed to look fine at first glance, is there anything I should keep an eye out for?

One thing I did notice is the default currency for the upgraded till is now in $ whereas prior to the OS upgrade it was £ how do I change it back?

Many Thanks in advance

Martin

    Hi Martin,

For the Window 10, there should not be issues with RMS functioning, if You haven't re-installed anything (like SQL, printers or similar).

For the default currency, try changing it in Windows settings and define the pound as base currency.

    Regards, A.
