Customer Open Transactions Report Headers show "Textbox #" for Headers

ReportReport

Hello:

The Customer Open Transactions Report is showing Textbox & and Number for headers.

Also, many extraneous fields with header names.

Is there a way to fix this?

See below:

Can you tell us what customizations are done on it?

If no customizations, you can try building that model.

When you export SSRS report to excel - You will find something like this.

I don't think there is any other option fix to this.

    Thanks,

    Girish S.

    Hi Paul V

How do you export this data? Can you provide some screenshot from the system?

    Thanks,

I run the process to CSV since I need all fields in a row.

Excel is fine, but the customer # and name are listed above the detail information.  need in CSV where all data )including customer # and name are in one row

Paul, this report exports fine to Excel for me in a demo environment.  That report may need to be recompiled by a technical resource for your environment.

Also, this is an SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) report.  As such, in order to get the Customer name on the lines, the report would need to be modified by a developer.  Only then would it export in the format you desire.  Or, you could write a macro in Excel to reformat the sheet after exporting it.

Yes, excel is fine.  Try running as CSV, it's not a very user friendly output format

Oh yeah, I see what you mean.  That is ugly.  The Column headers are being exported as rows with the row detail on the same rows as the headers.  Can I ask, why do you need it in csv format?

Business Analysts requesting this for analysis.  Also integration to banking system
