We found opening balance in large number in some items after year end closing. and these quantity are not physically exists. Any help would be appreciate.

How many of these entries exists? How many items are affected? I doubt the 1970 entries actually exist. You could either create offsetting entries to correct them or use Tools->Utilities->Inventory->Delete Transactions to remove them. You would then run IV Reconcile to correct the balances. Perform a backup before deleting.
Richard, There are 3 to 4 entries exists in every item on multiple sides and five item are effected and 1970 entries only exists in "102270"
Then you will either enter offsetting transactions or delete these transactions.
Richard, Let me clear you again. There is the different issues in every item like in some item Qty In is "86.400" and balance is "136.106". How is that possible? and in other side in same item the Qty In is "0" and Qty Out is "86.400" and balance is "57.330". And how would I know which transaction needs to be delete?
If you drag the slider down to the most recent date is that where you are seeing this difference? This screen works backwards from most recent transaction to oldest. Are you keep transaction history for the items in question? On the U/M for KG is 1 the equivalent? Send over a screenshot containing the most recent transaction for one of these items.
Richard, I think we do not need to delete any transaction as the actual issue is in balance quantity can we set item Qty from SQL table? will it works me? And one more thing we can see that there is no difference in Inventory GL in financial module.
And we are keeping transaction history and yes U/M for KG is 1 equivalent.

The Total Stock comes from the item location table. You do not want to change that. If Maintain Transaction History was not turned on for these items then you have lost the use of this screen. At this point you could halt all activity affecting inventory and enter a stock count entry. This will reflect your physical inventory and will adjust the Total Stock count quantity. Make sure you have checked the Maintain Transaction History box for these items.

Please refer first transaction for item 102270 and its balance, (RCT-21197) dated 21/12/2013 is for qty is 86,400 but the balance is 403,675 on the screen which must be equal to 86,400 because it was the first transaction on this site. And you can see in other transaction for item 102275 TRN-06356 qty is 20,000 and the balance is also same 20,000 which is clearly right according to GP.

Please remember this screen works backwards. It starts with whatever is in IV00102 for the item/site. This is the Total Stock number. Then going in reverse date order it computes the balances you see on the screen. If the beginning balances are not correct refer to this article. It gives the most likely reasons why the numbers are off.
