Security role to import views & personalisations

Hi all,

As a business we like to create workspaces, views and personalisations for new users to specific roles, for example, if we have new warehouse personel, we have standard workspaces created, which contain personalisations and views - so our workforce are consistent in what they see for their area of responsibility.

We are able to export and save a workspace locally, which contains the specific personalisations without issues. To import them into a new user's profile, so they have identical personalisations and a copy of the workspace can't be done with their standard roles, so in order to complete this we have to supervise and grant them with System administrator until the task is complete.

My question is, does anyone from the community know if there is a specific role or privilege we can give our users to allow them to import a new workspace to their dashboard?

Supporting steps/screens

Export Workspace: (basic role seems to support this)
In your personalised workspace > Settings > Personalise > Export > Save to local file

Import Workspace: (only System administrator can perform this)
Settings > Personalise > Import > Import from local file

Regards.

I'd recon the "System User" role should be enough.
It might be a dumb question, but have your users been assigned this role?

Update: I was not able to reproduce the issue in my test environment.

I created a simple test workspace with a Sales Order list as an System Administrator, exported it, imported it with a user with the System User and Accounting Manager roles, and it worked fine.
I also tried a few personalizations of the Sales Order form.

So all in all... A bit odd...
Is the button available at all?

To answer the question about privileges, the least privilege that will grant access to import workspaces is the "ClientEssentials", privilege.
The following menu item get's invoked when you click import, so it's worth to check if it has enough permission in your role setup.

    Thanks for your response Jonas.
For some reason I wasn't getting Microsoft notifications for this, so apologies fo the delay in reply.

I've still had issues with this, created different versions of workspaces/personalisations with various standard screens, work details, exported/imported as a mix of roles, Warehouse worker, Warehouse manager, etc, exported/imported as System administrator, and looked at your privilege suggestion below.
The Import & Export seems to always be visible.

Its still very restricted as to whether it will work or not.
I was able to export a work details page, in a test workspace as System administrator, then import as a Warehouse worker which succeeded. So I think as long as a user has the correct roles to view the workspace then it seems that will work.
In the past though when this scenario occurred, the workspace would just omit the page from the workspace, giving a notification in the Action centre.

Looks like we'll just have to continue to run any export/imports by granting temporary System Administator privileges, then removing again once done.

Thanks for your help with this.
    Rgds.
