    Hello Robert,

Please follow below article where you don't need to edit the XML of the sitemap.

    www.alphabold.com/.../

Also you can use sitemap editor in XRM toolbox for more functionality.

    www.xrmtoolbox.com/.../

    Thank you,

    Hi,

You don't need to edit the sitemap xrm. You can use sitemap editor to apply privilege on sub area.

Please see below blog on how to do that -

    www.inogic.com/.../

Please mark my answer verified if this is helpful!

Yes, I`ve did everything on that blog,

I set Entity privileges to the Subarea I want to hide,

The User that I don`t want them to see I unchecked all bullets for that Entity

And I still see them, is it maybe because I`m accesing the app from a link?

I can`t seem to upload screenshots..

How do I verify if the user is associated to any team?

    This is what I did:

Security Role I want to hide subareas from: Basic User

    Entity used for Privilege: Approval

Made sure all bullets are unchecked for custom entity Approval for the Basic User

I`ve set for all the subareas I want to hide from the Basic User like this:

    -Entity chosen: Approval

    -Privilege: Read

I`ve shared the app with the User and gave him Basic User role

Made sure the user only has Basic Rule, by checking the admin center

I open the app with the User from a link, and I can see all subareas that were supposed to be hidden

I don`t know how at one time it seemed to be working i was only seeing the page I needed, and then I went to update the other subareas to be hidden, and now it`s not working again.

Is it possible to take so long untill it updates the app?

Go to the user record and you will see the teams which that user is part of. After that check what are the roles given to that team.

I`ve removed all Security Roles from htat User, and he can still access it, does it mean he`s a member of a team?

    Hello,

is he accessing the right app?

because this logic is app based so the changes which you are making are not applicable for all the applications.

    It`s the same link, Yes.

I also checked and Record ownership across business units is switched off,  I was thinking maybe this was for the membership you were saying
