Auto Numbering field

Hi,  I probably need build a new format instead of using the existing one in incident entity. I should create a new field or just use the same field(ticketnumber)?

    You can use the same one - that way, you won't have to change the views etc. If you are using an existing autonumbering solution, it should take care of everything. If you are creating a plugin, just register it on the pre-create
