Record Level Security in AX 2012 R2

Hi

I tried to work with Record Level Security in AX 2012 R2, but i face some issues because many times no effects, or for example when i filter the transaction inquiry screen not responding

 

i want to filter Inventory journals, Payment Journals, warehouses, sales, sales line, customers, on-hand, transaction,....etc

 

 

there any setup before start? or what's the related tables, may be i select something wrong

 

i am already working with Record Level Security in Axapta 3.0 for long time no issue and smoothly

    Record level security is deprecated, use XDS (Extensible data security) instead https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=3110

    Hi Tahir,

    In addition: RLS is available in AX2012, but like previous versions you need to be sure other roles are not overriding the filters. XDS will do this in a better way. Then when it is constrained for one role, another role without linked security policy will not cause the user to see all records again.

    Also note that a system administrator in AX 2012 is bypassing all security logic, so please test with users without the role system administrator.
