AX Retail POS Cashier Not Display on POS screen

Hi everyone

Newly created Worker/Cashier not Showing on Retail POS Screen.

I am running MS Dynamics AX 2012 R3. All Module with POS.

I created a user in AD for POS and after that link it with AX

I gave rights to user on POS by linking address book, stores, and POS Permissions.

After that I ran jobs (1060Staff, 1070Channel configuration and 1090Register). But cashier not display on Retail POS Login Screen. I ran all 9999 job but still not cashier display on POS login screen.

Please give some solution for this.

You don't need to create a user in AD to use POS. You have done all the required steps to get the employee on pos. I hope you have attached valid position to the worker. I would recommend you to check address books in store and worker. I have had issues getting employess on POS when I send incremental data. The worker came up on the POS after 2-3 full syncs. Best of luck with that.

Worker is also showing in table retailstafftable on POS. It means, it is reached on POS database but still it is not displaying in cashier's list, when we run POS Icon. other cashiers names are displaying there but it is not. Any further help please.

Please make sure that Store and Worker shares same address book.

do the full sync once and check if jobs are getting applied successfully.

Full Sync 9999 job Applied, Store and worker shares same address book. But still problem not solve.

Any further Help?

Is there any limitation in POS user List (Maximum or Minimum)? It means how much cashier user can display on Same POS node.

Hi Khubaib,

Did you follow below steps:

1. Create a new worker

2. Assign position to it as POS Cashier or Store Manager

3. Add related Legal entity in address book

4. Check POS permissions to this worker in retail submenu on workers form.

5. Push 1060 job to store

6. Check person id of this user in the RetailStaffTable in AX and Staffid on Store server ax.RetailStaffTable. Both values should be there in tables after 1060 push.

7. If it's there then you should be able to get it on your pos login.

If you are not able t login, reset the password for this user in AX worker form >> Retail submenu and run 1060 again for the particular store.

Also check if the addressbook you are attaching with your user is correctly mapped to the store you are trying to push this job.
