Historical Quantity in Stock for Past months in 365 Business Central

I'm trying find a way of creating a report to show the quantity in stock for each product at the end of each month?

Ideally I'd like to see the quantities for the past 24 months.

Dynamics 365 Business Central doesn't seem to have this.

Any suggestions?

Hello,

You can try using Inventory Analysis Report.

Column Type: Balance at Date. This is to get the quantity as of the end of month.

Value Type: Quantity. There is options for sales amount, cost etc for you to explore.

Hello,

Can you check if you have created the Accounting Periods?

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/business-central/finance-accounting-periods-and-fiscal-years

Make sure the Comparison Period Formula field is correctly written too.

Or you can consider customizing a new report, the data comes from the item ledger entries.

However, please note that if you need Bin data, this requires Warehouse Entry, and if you need the amount/cost, this requires extracting data from Value Entry.
