We have problem in printing arabic text information in Report Writer (RW) of Microsoft Dynamics GP 2010. It scrumbled arabic information in body section of RW from right to left and displaying INcorrectly according to report header columns arrangement as its orginal design format... However, it's displaying english information correctly under its columns when turn Windows OS Language into English but if textboxt content has arabic uni-code format, it showing garbage info. Please help us how to fixed columnar report for arabic text so it will display arabic info under its designated column. Thanks.

Is this the case that you are experiencing when printing reports in Dynamics GP that include Arabic Characters

If this is the case, you need to go through the following steps in order to ensure printing Arabic Characters correctly,

GO to Regional Settings, Keyboard and Language tab, and ensure that the Arabic Language is included as shown below

On the Region and Language, on the first tab (Format) > Additional Settings

Measurement System: US

Use Native digits: Never

Now before printing the report, navigate to the language bar , and choose the "Arabic Language" and then click "Print"

Hi,

Rather than changing the keyboard language every time you want to print the report is by changing the report format from text to graphic by unchecking the box "Text" then reformat the report layout. I know that this will take some time to re-adjust the layout but this will final for every user.

I already did the above steps with no lucky chance.

if issue happen in all reports.

could you please le me know how i can change the report from text to graphical.

Report

Print the report to Screen in GP. Then go to Tools-->Customize-->Modify Current Report or click Ctrl+F9 key. Now this report will open in design layout, close the layout window. It will return to report definition window. Then mark the Text Report option as shown below and click ok. Now open the same window and click the layout button the correct the report alignment and close to save the changes. Finally go to File-->Microsoft Dynamics GP to return GP.

Now open Alternate/Modified Forms and Reports window (Tools-->Setup-->System-->Alternate/Modified Forms and Reports), then give modified report access to appropriate users.
