Hi Guys,

I have a column in the Lead entity. That field is a lookup field.

I want to change the target record type of that column to a different entity.

How to do that?

    You can not.

    Lookup field hold three properties

1.Entity Id- This is GUID of record

    2.Entity Name-Name of record

3.Entity Type- Type of entity for eg. Account

    Hi,

You cannot change the target record type as it is defined when you create a lookup. You need to create a new field with the new target.

    Hope this helps.
