FRX-Column layout is in use by me.

I am getting a message that says 'column layout is in use by me' for the bal sheet report. This is preventing me from editing the date to generate the current month's report.

How can i resolve?

Thanks Greg. This was the answer I was looking for, regarding the .tmp files. I knew about the .ldb files and .lck files. This was the missing bit of information. I have now been able to compact the databases.

In addition to compacting in FRx, you can also have all the users exit FRx and then in the SysData folder, delete any .ldb, .tmp or .frx files you find.

Hi,

You need to run the FRx Tool to compact the current spec set and system database. Go to Tools | Compact FRx database and then compact the spec set.
