Business Rules error on activation

I have a Business Rule that shows/hides fields based on the value of one field.  It has worked in the past.  I deleted a field from the form so I deactivated the Business Rule, removed that field from the Business Rule, successfully validated, and tried to reactivate.  When I reactivate I get the error:

"Errors in Process Definition

This process contains errors and cannot be activated.  Open the process, correct any errors, and try again..."

1. Why are there errors when the rule validates successfully?

2. How can I find out what the errors are?

    The log doesn't give me much help, but maybe I don't know what I'm looking for.  Can you see what is wrong?  This is what the error details says:

    There is no new information in this log. Please check Business Rule conditions and actions.

    I cannot see any errors in the conditions or actions.  The only change was to remove fields that were removed on the form, so I'm baffled.  It also validates successfully.

    I think when you removed the field something was not removed from the business rule, can you try developing a same rule from scratch or rebuild this rule.

    Hi Barbara ,

    Please check if you have lookup's referencing in your Business Rule.if yes , please resolve (refresh) those values and again. Try to activate there after.

    That was it!!  My conditions were lookup fields.  After I refreshed them, the Business Rule activated without issue.  Thank you so much!
