Changing Language after upgrade GP 2016

I just completed an upgrade of GP 2013 to GP 2016. This was for a client based in the US but managed by a firm in the UK. Due to strict security constrictions I was unable to download the GP 2016 media so they did it off their Microsoft download site. After the installation was done I noticed that the language used is UK-English not US-English. So the original GP was in US-English and the upgrade was done using the UK version of GP. Will there be an issue if I create the installation package file using US-English? Is the underlying data alright? The currency remained US$ so my guess is that it is alright.
