What are the consequnces of not installing the 2013 January Hot Fix till a major update comes out?

The only item that has consequences for us is the

US Payroll Rounding issues with Employer Social Security on 6.2 rate (same as employee)

We have a lot of companies so the Utilities can take a long time to run for just this one correction.

    Hi,

    If none of the 'fixed'  items are of interest, my thought is that you can just forge ahead. I skip many hot fixes and SP's if my client is not experiencing the problem described in the hot fix or SP.

    I also know that not all of the changes are described in the KB article. Just like any update, you need to beware and test.
