CRM 2015/2016: Add a cc field to Email Template

I want to add a cc (or bcc) field to Email Template so that when I start a Quick Campaign to send emails by using Email Template it could cc a copy to a specific email address. Does anyone know how to do so?

If you always use marketing lists for quick campaigns, you can add a contact record to the marketing lists with the email address you want on it. If not, you may have to use a workflow to trigger based on an email getting created/sent (and filter for content) and send another email to the desired email address.

We want that for each email it also cc a copy to a specific email address for handling of printing and other follow up action.

Lucas, do you mean we are unable to simply enable the cc field in the Email Template? For other email functions such as Direct Email or Email wirazd I could use or enable the cc field. It is weird that we couldn't do it in Email Template.

Chris, that is correct. If I'm understanding the requirement correctly, the 2 options above would be my suggestions without writing any code.

What is the printing requirement or reason they also need the email that is sent out from CRM? Can they not log into CRM to see it as well?

Thanks Lucas. We will try to implement it based on your suggestions.

The printing requirement is from the users of another section. Before the implementation of CRM, sending emails to outsiders and cc a copy to one specific email account was a common practice. Then a clerk using that account would print out the emails for record purpose. Sometimes, it is hard for IT guys to convince users to change the existing practice that has been adopted for many years.

CC recipient and To recipients can be handle in workflow of the consumer process of this template.

They did not define CC and To here because Templates use for generic purpose and can't be restrict for limited use for particular user or group.
