IN OUR CASE IF I PURCHASE SET A (CONTAIN ITEM 1,2 AND 3)

AND ON SALES WE SELL IT AS SINGLE ITEM AND NOT A SET ...

HOW CAN WE DOT?

EXAMPLE:

PURCHASE SET A : 20 PCS

SO NOW I HAVE 20 PCS OF ITEM 1, 2 AND 3 ...

ON SALES I NEED TO SELL 5 PCS OF ITEM 1 AND 10 PCS OF ITEM 2 ...

SO MY REMAINING QUANTITY NOW IS :

15 PCS OF ITEM 1

20 PCS OF ITEM 2

10 PCS OF ITEM 3 ...

AND OFFCORSE I WOULD BE ABLE TO SELL IT AS SET ...

SO WHEN I PURCHASE IT OR SELL IT AS SET ... THE INVENTORY OF EACH ITEM WILL BE AFFECTED ...

KINDLY ADVISE ...

That link refers to Dynamics 365 for Customer Engagement apps version 9.x not to Ax 2012.

Its not clear whether you are using retail if so, then go to Retail/Common/Kits/Product kits). By clicking Configure you are able to enter the components. Every set of components results in a new Configuration of the kit product:

Or use mix and match functionality (with, or without discount)

If its always a full set or single pieces, then you can use a Sales BOM explosion. Create a BOM for the set.

Create a sales order, enter a new line with the set and apply the Sales order line / Explode BOM lines function:

(You could possibly use supplementary items, but then you might as well sell individual items).
