Once a Sale Order has been authorized is there any way to change currency exchange rate value? This is because Sales Orders are captured days before they are going to be shipped, but they are authorized same day. When Sales orders are finally invoiced there can be several days between dates, and I need to use invoice's date exchange rate. I can not change rate because my sale order is authorized. Is there any other way I could do this?
What I need to avoid is open sale order, change exchange rate and authorize again, this authorization is made by one director, so asking him to perform same activity twice is not a solution.

If there is any changes in sales order in a way that amount is changing, then you have to send the sales order again for approval, you can not directly change the values without any authorization. so in your case you are trying to change the currency exchange rate which directly changes Amount of sales order.
