positive pay for well fargo

Posted on by 167
Hi experts,

To build positive pay for well fargo, does it require coding or just build through data exchange definition per bank specification. The reason for this question is sometimes certain banks requires certain data that BC doesn't generate out of box. Thanks for any thoughts.

If you need customization its fairly simple, you just need to modify the export.

Hi Kemibello, Thanks for the response. Overall, are the dev efforts relatively big or small? From your response, I assume dev only needs to create data to indicate the transaction code?

Could you also explain a bit on the payment manager? or provide a link for reference? Thanks

Yes it does, it require the transaction code indicator for 320, 370, or blank for entry status. Dev was required when we configured it. If they are using paymnet manager, this also will require development.

It's hard to answer this question without knowing the specific format required by Wells Fargo. Someone on the forum who has built one recently might be able to help, but I’m not sure there are many of those around.

The last time I worked on Positive Pay for Wells Fargo was about six years ago for NAV, and customization was necessary at that time. However, things may have changed since then.
