Add Sub-Accounts to related menu navigation on new Account Form

We would like to add the Sub-Accounts link in the related menu navigation on a new Account form.

For example, when you are on the Information form for an Account and you click on the related menu drop-down, there is a button for Sub-Accounts.

If you then change to a different Form, when you click on the related menu drop-down, there is no option for Sub-Accounts. How can you add the Sub-Accounts to the related menu?

I've tried establishing a new relationship via the Form configuration, but you can't select Sub-Accounts as the related entity.

We would like a quick way to display all Child and Grandchild accounts.

Alternatively, can you do this via a sub-grid? (I tried this but could only get it to display the Child accounts, not the Grandchild accounts)

You need to create a 1:N relationship between accounts and sub accounts in order to show sub accounts button on Account Menu Navigation.

Your relation should be like this. Verify that Display Option should be Use Plural Name

Also verify that Subaccount is present on left hand navigation. Click on Navigation and check. In my case test entity is present

Also Navigation Menu is Form independent. It will be displayed across all Forms.

Alternatively you can display grandchild records one way only.

    1. Create a Subrid for GrandChild.

    2. Select All Records Types and select Entity name.

    3. Filter the subgrid to show only those records related to Parent record. Refer this:

Out of the box there's a button for viewing hierarchy relationships that appears on the form and beside the record name on the list view. That's one click away from showing all child and grandchild accounts.
