Fixed Assets Delete Book

Hello,

One of my clients uses Fixed Assets in GP 2010. They used to calculate both Book and Tax Depreciation for all their assets. Now they just use GP to calculate their book depreciation.

Since the client is not using GP anymore for Tax Depreciation they would like to remove these books and the associated records from the system. Does anyone know of a method to accomplish this?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

David

Delete all the records in FA00200 (Asset Book Master) and FA00902 (Financial Detail Master) for the Tax book.  You should then be able to delete the book.  Try it in a test company first and make sure you back up the database prior to deleting any records in production.

    Frank,

Thanks for your response. I will try and give this a shot.
