Missing logs for Organizational Insights

I'm referring to this,

In one of our instance, there are missing old logs when you view the records.

Seems like the logs from Mid April backwards has been deleted. 

I'm new with this, I need your thoughts...

1. Are there records where the Charts are based?

2. Does the Organizational Charts automatically deletes logs when a certain limit was reached?

3. What is happening??!

    Hi Marjorie,

    Assuming you are using online CRM, in that case, the data is shown from interim tables of SQL which is maintained by Microsoft cloud. That table regularly gets refreshed for performance optimization like bulk deletion job in CRM.

    We also faced the similar issue in Organizational Insights and we raised similar MS Ticket and then we came to know about it from MS Engineer.

    Hi Samit,

    Thanks for your response. I've reached out to the MS Support and he provided me this details.

    "I just got the confirmation regarding this issue. Following the recent changes we made to be compliant with the latest GDPR(General Data Protection Regulation) www.microsoft.com/.../gdpr. The data retention was reduced from 90 to 30 days. Thus, users cannot view the data older than 30 days on Organization Insights.  This is by design."
