Installing GP 2016 web client, Http error 503 when trying to access webpage.

Hello,

In a test environment, I am attempting to install and configure GP 2016 web client on windows server 2016 R2. Everything seems to have installed correctly, however, when trying to access the webpage from the local server I receive and HTTP 503 error with message "the service is not available".

Additional info:

All GP and IIS services are running, the website is using a self-signed cert, the GP website app pool identities are using domain admin accounts, GP services are running using domain admin accounts.

The web address I'm using to connect is "https://*servername*/GP", and the website is located in "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Dynamics\GP Web Components" if that even matters.

Couldn't seem to find any related messages in Event viewer

Thanks, Ill add any additional info if required.

    Hey,

Thanks for the help, I tried messing around with the apppools and their associated accounts but it did not work. After a UN-install and fresh install of GP and GP web client/components it works fine.

The only thing that I've ever seen a 503 error be is something wrong with the App Pool. Try running an IIS reset, make sure the App Pool is running, restart it, try setting a different account and password on the App Pool then restart it again.
