Hi,

Wonder someone can share anything wrong my my system setup.

I am generating counting journal for my stock counting, i generate the counting journal for all without filtering item groups nor warehouses.

I encounter it takes a very long times to run, until now it has been more than 12hours running without any interruption. It still now finish yet.

I been run re-indexing & restart the service before i generate the counting journal but it seem taking too long to run.

What can i check from here? Is it a bug or is there fixes for this?

I have the same question (0)

    Hi Dexin,

Are you using a lot of variants and different storage dimensions? How many items do you have to be considered for this counting journal? Please share your numbers. Was this process running more quickly before?

    Guys,

Below is the parameter is used to create the counting journal.

I did not filter any warehouse or location.

Basically, i just called out all the on-hand inventories.

    Estimated about 20K of records.

I let it run for 48 hours but it still not finish yet

    Hello Dexin,

Have you tried running the process via batch? (see your second tab).

Also, if things take long, try to apply filters for example for specific sites, warehouses or something alike.

    This should accelerate the process.

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

    Hi Dexin,

The 'Version' dimension is not a standard dimension. Is this part of an ISV solution or a customization?

Have you tried running some clean up jobs from the Inventory management menu, like 'Inventory dimensions cleanup' and 'On-hand entries cleanup'?

    Hi Dexin,

it really depends on the item numbers and the active dimensions. I would suggest you run the cleanup job  'Inventory dimensions cleanup' and 'On-hand entries cleanup' which Andre mentioned. thoes cleanup jobs will help to closed the dimensions that are fully settled. it's supposed will scale down the counting lines.
