New fields in SSRS temp table not showing any data even though it is populated in DP class

Hi,

I have added four new fields in temp table used in an SSRS report. I also checked that the data is populating correctly in those fields in RDP class, but the data is not showing on the report. The fields are showing in the report dataset and I have referred the field in the text box but even then it is not showing any data. Also, when I populate the same value in some existing field, that value is shown correctly. Any clue what might be causing this. I have restarted AOS, SQL reporting service, full and incremental CIL but nothing seems to be working.

Thanks.

    There's a 254-column limit to data provider tmp-tables.

    See: addicted2ax.de/index.php

delete the report from report server and redeploy the new version . if you dont want to delete report from the server you need to disable the static design in ReportDeploymentSettings form, and deploy the report again.

Same problem, but after runnning the same report a few times my custom field is displayed. Very strange behaviour. Deleting the country region code on the table fields of the table used in the report solved the problem.

For me it was a problem for the psaProjInvoice, this reports uses 3 datasources: psaProjInvoiceHeaderTmp, psaProjInvoiceTmp and ProjInvoiceLocalizationTmp ==> the psaProjInvoiceTmp contains fields with the country region code specified??).

This seems a design issue, localization fields should be included in ProjInvoiceLocalizationTmp?

Still don't know after runnning the report a few times the fields were although displayed...

Can you see the values when you click on 'preview' in Visual Studio?  If you can, then you need to delete the RDL report on the server where it is being deployed and redeploy after that.

If you can't see the values in Visual Studio, then you need to employ the refresh 'RDL' trick (create new report and merge it's AOT definitions with the existing report) and that will force a refresh of the RDL file.

Edit: just noticed that Venkatesh answered this one correctly a long time ago..  oh well.

This may be because of cache issue.

Try to clear it, will solve the issue

Did you find a solution for this? I am facing the same issue in D365...

Try to delete the report from Report Manager URL and try.

Redeploy the report  and clear the cache and check.

I have updated the heading of duplicate report and added a new column from temporary table. I can see new report in output, it just not showing column data still required to delete old report.
