Hi Team,
I have to perform one task where we need to give permission to update there details into system user entity.
But we do not give the system admin rights.
Can some one guide how we can achieve without giving system admin rights. We are using MS CRM-2013
Thanks
Abhishek

Hi,
this is not possible within the system user entity itself. As mentioned, the minimum level is business unit level.
Hi Alex,
Thanks for reply. Can Please explain more? I need only user can modify own record only.
Because of how the permissions are, one option would be to set up a custom entity for all those fields, and, then, use a workflow to update the actual user entity( then you can run it under admin account, for example)
Hi,
Originally, user cannot edit the record
Grant user edit privilege.
Result
but the minimum level for user entity is business unit level, it means this user can edit other users who under the same business unit. Please talk to your user or management first.

Hi Abhishek,
Giving read/write permission to systemuser entity to user level will allow users to update their own information. System admin rights are not required.
