FRx/Forecaster/DirectLink issue

Client is on SL 6.5, FRx 6.7 SP9 and Forecaster 6.7

They just got a new Win7 workstation, so FRx might have a problem with that, as it needs to be at SP11.

However, the weird part was that while the Forecaster Accounting System was listed in Admin/Organization, if they go to create a new FRx company to pull from Forecaster, they hit the drop-down for Accounting System, see "Forecaster" listed & choose it, and then it (the Forecaster Accounting System) fades away and disappears.

I'm trying to figure out if that's a FRx SP issue, a DLL issue, or some other unknown gremlin.

Thanks Greg. Sorry for not following-up here at the forum. We actually ripped-out the FRx install, re-installed, applied SP11 and had success linking to the FC Accounting System in the FRx Company Info screen. THanks for the reply.

Hi John,

You will definitely want to apply SP11 so that FRx works with Win7. Applying the service pack should correct the problem. This is usually an issue with the FSForecaster70.dll not being registered. The service pack will register the dll file and you should then be able to select the Forecaster accounting system in the Company Information window.
