Disable sync between Dynamics 365 CE and Outlook

Hello,

Our Dynamics 365 CE system synced with outlook. The requirement is to be disable sync Birthday to Outlook birthday calendar. 

Following setting process:

Setting => Administration => System Settings => Synchronization Tag => Click synchronized fields => Open Synchronization Settings for Outlook or Exchange window => Click to disable the sync => Click OK

After testing, the Birthday sync is still effective. Could you help to analyze the reason?

    Hi ALL365,

    The new settings are only used for future syncs.

    Therefore, contacts that have already been synced will still be added to birthdays

    until they are synced again (for example, if the contacts have changed).

    If I want to change the sync feature timely by refreshing contact record. Can I config the User Filter:

    Reference: pavankumargarlapati.wordpress.com/.../

    Under the Contact, I setup Birthday DO NOT EQUAL Any Time. Not sure if this work. Can you give me some sugestion?

    (Sorry I cannot insert a screenshot, the "Use rich formatting" look like not work.)
