Intercompany Posting - Access needed in both companies

Hello,

We want to restrict access to just "creating Inter-company journal entries" from within one Legal Entity into another Legal Entity.  The user should not be allowed to do anything else in the OffSet Inter company.  Is creating a role with this specific duty in the OffSet company the best way to achieve desired results?  Or is there a way to set up a journal to achieve these results?

Thanks for your suggesting!

    Hi,

You will need to give access to the offset company to your user. He needs to be able to post GL journals in that offset company too so yes creating a role is the way to go.

You can limit his access in the offset company though and have him having access to only intercompany journals or just to the GL area.
