Purpose of column in TaxTransGeneralJournalAccountEntry

Would anyone happen to know the meaning of the values in column 'TaxTransRelationship' in the data entity e.g. table 'TaxTransGeneralJournalAccountEntry'?

Its a question from our data/Power BI team who is building a VAT related report. They see values like 0, 1, 2, 3 and 6 in that column.

On https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/finance/general-ledger/general-ledger-statement-by-main-account there is a mention of that column/field, but it refers to a table I do not see in our database (table = TaxTransRelationshipType)

Hi @R Muilwijk, it is a field in TaxTransGeneralJournalAccountEntry as you said. It is an enum field with options. In SQL you will see the values from 0..n. The use of this field is to explain the context in which a journal entry is connected to a tax record. By using TaxTransRelationshipType, the system can precisely track and report on the different components of a transaction that contribute to the overall sales tax, allowing for more detailed analysis and reconciliation.
